I'll Know You Better (than I did Yesterday)

I've done enough. I should be free. The worst things are hard-pressed to fool me, and I'm at peace with my hands, and love is convincingly used... I am what life commanded. I've stumbled through recreating a mind, no longer victim or cruel.

Something long delivered but not being used is something long mis-taken, and deeply abused.

There's a solid oak door in the way, holding me from the next room. Solid steels walls all around me. I'll die if I'm not out soon. But change is a pissy, dark city, full of backed-up roads and one-way signs. Does everything need rebuilding, or has one bad footing resigned?

Something long delivered but not being used is something long mis-taken, and deeply abused.

But I know we're ambivilent. I know we are love and hate combined. Yeah, I guess we're ambivilent. I guess we we have both worlds caught in our eyes.

Please let me be. Let me be... What you want me to be. What I have to be. I won't be bound, so let me free. I'm getting out of this again, so let me free.

And I can't answer, so I'll just breathe. Yeah, I can't answer, so I'll just breathe, because I'm waiting on the other side. Yeah, I'm waiting on the other side. Clear the way for me to the other side, because somehow I'm waiting, on the other side.
